inspiration teachers

Sometimes comes a time when whatever you are doing it not right and that what ever you have done is not appreciated by others remember this teachers :
1) You are an engineer of society - This I say because you are the changing force in a society. You can help to make or break a society.
2) You are the force behind the success of a pupil. No matter what the pupil says after achieving their favorable results, the know deep down you were the one who sat and sweated with them during the early days.
3) Even if society does not appreciates you and looks down on your work and effort, remember that you have a contract with God to produce good pupils under what ever circumstances.
4) Even if there are so many things lacking as in infrastructure and other means, you still walk on head high marching to obtain and give your best. You will always improvise and do with whatever you have.
5) Teachers inspire the mind - When pupils are at a very tender age, they look upon their teachers as guidance and support thus teachers inspire the pupils to greater heights.
6) Teachers are moulders. Their job is to mold the brain and the thinking of the child. They motivate, cry and even inspire the children under their care to be someone in society.
7) Teachers care- Teachers are not meant to just teach in a school but their role has evolved over the years and now teachers are just facilitators, they just guide the pupils.
8) Teachers bring out the best out of their pupils. Never do teachers downgrade or humiliate their pupils but they try their level best to bring the greatness of each pupil under their care.
9) Teachers are not bias- Teachers do not see gender or race when teaching. For them a pupil is a pupil no matter which  background that they have come from, rich or poor they treat each pupil equally.
10) Teachers are fair- Teachers are fair to all their pupils and treat them equally when administration their lesson in the classroom. They only care at embarking whatever knowledge they have to their children to their best ability.

Managers and Teachers

Well it really has been sometime since I blogged and that is due to the fact that I have been getting adjusted to the new environment which I have been placed now. I have been send to another school after being in the same school for the past 7 years. Well I was shocked at first and thought maybe that someone is out to get me ! But then now I think that it is a blessing in disguise since I think that my "talent" is need more in the new school compare to my previous school.
My uncle did tell me that " Do not get too attach to anything in this world" How true are his words as I had got too attach to the old school that it was at first having some problems at getting adjusted to the new place. I mean i was like a lost kitten at the new school as I had to start to make new friends and learn the new place. Bear in mind this did not effect my teaching but rather enhance my teaching.
Sometimes change is good for everyone and being in the changes that I have encountered first hand, well i must admit it is not easily. Well just have a positive mindset over things and happenings. I am sure God has something good in store for me.
The new school is good so far just i am sad that the infrastructure is not as par as as some other schools in Ipoh. It is located in the town of small town but the building and the building is just not so satisfactory. I mean the school does not have a computer lab, science lab and also a school field. This is a school which was set up in 1953, that is what i have been told. I am sad that this previous school head have not taken the initiative to bring some positive change to the school. Sad really sad that if you are in the position to do some changes for the betterment of your pupils but you rather do nothing at all and just kill time until you retire! What sort of respect do you get from the present teachers?
Well a school needs to have a good manager and the Assistance should be good managers as well. A good manager will make changes for the school in this context. A school should be run like a company where the board of directors are the Headmaster and its Assistance and the shareholders are the teachers and the members of the PIBG,but sad to say not many schools are run in that manner. Therefore I can conclude that a school will break or make will depend on a good manager or a good head. A good head needs to take bold steps to run the school and think of gaining profits. Profits here meaning performance of the pupils. It also need to take steps to gain the trust of the public the wonderful facilities which it can provide. It not a matter of who take the step to get the ball rolling but it is crucial that whatever step is taken is for the benefit of the pupils. The head should always think " what if my son or daughter was in the school with no field or computer lab? He should place himself in the situation and hopefully some empathy will make him or her change. Attitude should be changed here.
Imagine the poor pupils looking through the fence at the other side - a fine trimmed school field and wishing that if only my school had a school field too.... With the 1m1s, I hope and pray that the relevant authorities will take heed of the situation and do some drastic changes! What the school need is a new place which is conducive learning environment. It is just too hot in the afternoon for learning to place. I sometimes feel for the pupils who have studies there before and what has happen to them. Sometimes it is not important for just producing As but also having a good learning environment.
Well I have the present head will change the building as soon as possible and relevant government bodies should be roped into making a change. A school does not see the race of the pupils studying in that school but it sees the achievement that it can offer to society.!
