Well it all begins on the dawn of Sunday morning and it has been going on since some time now. Well the residents are getting upset and I hope that they are not going to take the law in their own hands.
Well the most recent incident happen a couple of weeks back and this was related to me by a friend.
The uncle whose house was about to me be robbed woke up and he heard that someone was trying to break open the window. Seeing the robber had a crash helmet on he shouted at the robber " hei, apa lu mahu? The robber replied " saya mahu pecah rumah" Hearing this the uncle flashed his torchlight unto the robbers eyes and gave a signal to his daughter to trigger the alarm. When the alarm started making noise the robber shouted at the uncle " Cepat, kasi tutup itu alarm." Do you think that the uncle will listen to the robber who is about to robber him of his hard earn money. Hearing the alarm going off which caused a lot of noise and making the neighbour dashing out of their respective houses in aid of their friend. The robber fled the scene but out of frustration he smashed a iron rod at the panel of window at the entrance of the house.
Well this incident has caused alarm at the neighbourhood. When the police arrived, they just did their normal inspection of the place and I was told that 3 robbers were held in the same nite at other places.
Well what are the police doing about the increase of crime rates in the city ? If they cannot patrol in cars then they should pedal on bikes at nite when it is cold. I hope that the police force will take look into the matter before the people take things in their own hands and only God can help the robbers if that should happen !
